What is hypnosis ?
Hypnosis is a state of focused awareness, with a by-pass of the critical factor of the mind. It is these two things that create a state of heightened suggestibility.
It is an inside job. It's a natural state where the judging, analyzing, part of the conscious mind leads you into a state of heightened suggestibility. This in turn makes it easy to make profound changes. Hypnosis has been dated back to 3000 B.C. and a proven method for rapid changes. Go to our services page to learn more.
Skype and distance treatments.
Distance treatments unlike traditional treatments are becoming more mainstream and have evolved as the practice of alternative healing methods enter the digital age. Practioners may now offer various healing modalities in order to expand their reach to many more individuals across the U.S. and globally.
Services can be provided via phone as well... guiding people through challenges using technology. I personally will not conduct hypnosis over the phone only via Skype or in office. My coaching services can be handled effectively via Skype, phone and or in office. In some situations individuals feel more comfortable communicating openly in ways other than in an office environment and time/travel may also pose a factor. Studies indicate distance treatments can be as effective as face-to-face sessions and are also known to reduce anxiety in those prone to anxiety.* Please note that we do not file insurance and my clients pay for my services personally that protect their privacy and actually assist them in giving more value of the important inner work we are doing together.*
Can everyone be hypnotized ?
Most people experience hypnosis very effectively. There are a small group of people who may not respond effectively due to rare unusual circumstances and is actually correlated with intelligence.
Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy: What's the Difference?
Hypnosis is often recognized as being used by performers in entertainment, however, with highly trained certified individuals hypnosis has much broader applications when used in helping practices.
1.Hypnosis used by a trained and certified person for specialized uses.
( Consulting Hypnotist or Master Hypnotist)
2.Hypnosis used by a licensed mental health practitioner for therapeutic/medical treatments.
What exactly are our Life Coaching modalities?
Both our spiritual development and CBC life coaching packages involve a collarborative partnership on a journey for meaningful changes. The client must be genuinely interested in their expectations, in their facing fears, desires.

Please know that coaching is not therapy and coaches do not treat or otherwise counsel those with mental illness. Life coaches are certified to work with clients and their current situations to help the client make concrete plans for achieving their goals. Are you asleep during hypnosis ?
When hypnotized with Laura you are fully aware and awake of where you are and what is happening, however, for some people they think they are not, and at the same time having an internally focused awareness in an extremely relaxed pleasurable state. Many people don't realize they are hypnotized as they have a misconception from trance stage shows. Hypnosis does not mean sleep. Clients that do go to sleep as they may be tired in general upon arrival of a session will still benefit.
Is hypnosis safe ?
Hypnosis that is conducted by a trained facilitator or therapist is considered a safe, complimentary and alternative treatment. Hypnosis is not appropriate in people with mental illness and Laura is not a mental health practitioner.
How effective is hypnosis ?
Research has shown that hypnosis can help with many different challenges, from anxiety to teeth grinding and everything in between. Many studies have been conducted in the areas of pain control, addictions, stress, weight reduction, insomnia, and so much more as anything the mind effects hypnosis effects in what seems like magical ways ! How to prepare for all your sessions.
* Avoid stimulants up to 8 hours prior to your session, e.g. caffeinated drinks, cigarettes, most medications,( as these sessions are only for psychologically healthy individuals ) and no over-exciting activites.
* Wear comfortable clothing
* Come with an open mind
*Have a light meal or snack before appoinmnent time
* Enjoy the experience
